The temperature inside the Silverdome may have been chilly, but it was the Hillgrove High School Marching Band that turned up the heat and brought a taste of Cobb County marching bands to Pontiac, Michigan Saturday night.

Fall Concert 9/25 – 7:00pm Joseph B Boland Theater

The Hillgrove Bands will present a Fall Concert at 7:00pm in the Joseph B Boland Theater at Hillgrove High School.

Students report at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm warmup.   Concert 2 and Wind Symphony will warmup on stage.  Concert 1 and Symphonic Band will warmup in the band hall.

Please come to Hillgrove dressed.  Dress is formal.  Gentlemen please wear dress shirts, dress pants, dress shoes.  Ties preferred.  Ladies please wear a long dress or pants and shirt.  Please avoid bright colors.

Three Hillgrove musicians gain national elite status

POWDER SPRINGS – The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) has selected three seniors from Hillgrove High School to join the ranks of the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band.

Brothers Michael and Dennis Korwek (clarinet, mellophone) and Sam May (trumpet) will join over 120 band and colorguard members from across the country to play in the halftime show during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
